Atletico Mineiro signed Tomás Pérez, a midfielder on loan from FC Porto, until December 31. According to the official note from the club, the loan is valid until the end of the year and Atletico Mineiro has the option to buy 80% of the player's rights. The value of the option to buy is 5 million euros, which can be paid until May or after this period, for 5.5 million euros. FC Porto informed that the loan did not involve any intermediation and wishes the best to Tomás Pérez in this new stage of his career. Atletico Mineiro pays a maximum of 200,000 euros for the loan, but the loan may not have costs. Everything will depend on the number of games the midfielder plays. If Tomás Pérez participates in less than 30% of the games of the Brazilian club until the end of the loan, FC Porto will receive the 200,000 euros. But if his use is greater than 60%, Atletico Mineiro will not pay anything for the loan, with intermediate values existing. In addition, if the use is less than 30% until May 31 and Atletico Mineiro does not exercise the first option to buy, FC Porto has the right to recall the player. The Brazilian club, in any case, is responsible for paying the total salary of the midfielder until the end of the loan.
